About Disastershock
The Disastershock Global Volunteer Team (March - September, 2020) had members from 27 countries. The team's mission was to translate Disastershock into different languages and rapidly disseminate free copies globally to the countries most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
JOIN US
In March 2020 at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we formed an international all-volunteer group of 101 persons representing 27 countries. Our mission is to help parents, educators, and caregivers of children to cope with disaster-related stress through the global distribution of Disastershock: How to Cope with the Emotional Stress of a Major Disaster. This team produced 26 translations of Disastershock over a 6 month period. In August 2020 we changed our name to Disastershock Global Response Team. The ebook version of Disastershock is available free on this website. Currently the English version is also available at Amazon and AppleBooks. An Amazon paperback version is available at low cost (an Amazon requirement) for persons who want a hard copy (although Disastershock may be downloaded and printed for free). All proceeds are donated to global disaster relief.
If you would like to join our global volunteer team in providing translation into additional languages or assisting with distribution to different countries please contact us
